CLARITY, REVIVAL & RENEWAL

In my professional opinion, March is a definitive month—one of the most life-changing periods that we will encounter this year. All planets are in direct motion this March, bringing forward movement to the collective. The coming weeks will see clarity and a jolt of initiation that we have needed since the year began. We will also witness two of the most impactful and rare planetary shifts this month: Saturn’s move into Pisces, and Pluto in Aquarius. Saturn has a 29-year cycle, while Pluto takes a whopping 248 years to go around the zodiac! Bearing that in mind, this shift is an incredibly special occasion. Some of you may even be experiencing the start of your Saturn return this month; if you’re 29 or 58 years old, this is basically your astrological “coming of age”! So, yes… March is going to be a big deal.

March begins with a blast of passionate change on March 2nd, due to a fiery Venus and Jupiter conjunction in Aries. A “conjunction” is the most powerful connection in astrology, when two planets come together; and luckily for us, both Venus and Jupiter are beneficial planets. Prepare for new offers, financial breakthroughs, personal empowerment, and precious moments of opportunity. Additionally, I’d like to note that Venus is in its “detriment” in Aries—thus triggering you as an individual to adjust your relationships. Imbalanced situations, contracts, and agreements will be cast to the wayside! This conjunction will push us all to make changes in our lives, empowering who we truly are versus what others want for us.

On March 7, the Virgo full moon will shine a light on uncomfortable energetic and physical clutter in our lives. Allow this light to illuminate the dysfunctional, and reveal what we must change. These adjustments can include our own mental limitations, as well as negative thought patterns, habits, behaviors, and living situations. The full moon is also forming an activating square connection with Mars in Gemini, thus creating a challenging planetary alignment called a “mutable t-square.” Translation: prepare to receive uncomfortable information, experience verbal triggers, and feel the need to make a change.

But wait—we’re not done with March 7th just yet! On this same day, Saturn will move into Pisces in a transit that will last until 2026. This will complete Saturn’s 2.5 year transit in Aquarius, which revolved around the lockdowns and pandemic social restrictions. There is much fear surrounding Saturn; but his transit is only arduous when you resist and don’t surrender the lessons learned. It’s important to understand that Saturn wants what’s best for you, and the more you resist his lessons, the more challenging his transits can be.

Ruling over reality, teachings, stability, structure, and limitations, Saturn will test our boundaries during his stay in the spiritually-watery depths of Pisces. Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac; it represents dreams, illusions, the unconscious, subconscious, and the spiritual. Saturn will spend the next couple of years swimming through the depths of the collective unconscious, and shifting us past our fears and self-suppression.

On a societal level, prepare for Saturn in Pisces to reveal the challenging aspects of our public health, as well as the collective’s physical and spiritual well-being. Many will undergo an evolution of spiritual beliefs, straying away from rigid religious rules toward the metaphysical. As a consequence of these changes, we can experience true healing and self-autonomy. On the flipside, society’s constant abuse of the Earth and climate change will bring about structural damage from water. This will expose how the harm and destruction of the environment is placed disproportionately on the masses and those in need, as opposed to those in authority positions.

On March 23rd, Pluto moves into Aquarius to begin its once-in-a-lifetime transit of 20 years. Pluto invokes change, transformation, death, and upheaval in the sign it slowly moves through. Aquarius rules over the masses, as well as technology, innovation, ascension, science, and humanitarianism. As a result, this major planetary shift is initiating an entirely new era for humanity through the upheaval of old systems. We can expect advances in AI, digital currency, and wars over data to be in the spotlight.

Keep in mind that this is a three-month preview this year because of retrogrades; Pluto will make his final move into Aquarius in January 2024. During this time, it’s important to pay attention to what occurs for you. This short period could clue you into what will transform for you over the next 20 years! Of course, an event this major deserves more than just a paragraph. The month concludes with Mars moving into the emotionally-reactive sign of Cancer on March 25th. It’s important to note that the hot Aries sun will form a harsh connection called a “square” with Mars in the final few days of the month. When you mix fire and water, you can get some steam—likely to scald you if taken too far. Practice working with your emotions during conflict, turning inward to alchemize them versus giving an immediate reaction. Patience will serve you well as the month concludes.
