What happens when the energy, scratch that. What happens, what happens when the identity that you have taken, you have taken, you have taken, you have taken, you have taken, you have taken, twenty years to build, ten years to build, five years to build, thirty years to build, no longer aligns with you. That is a question that I've been getting from my clients that I have noticed in the commentary online. And what I have felt intuitively from the collective is that a lot of people are at crossroads in their life. And it's not just about career, but this is about purpose. I think that one of the biggest generations, if not the biggest, the baby boomers are at that second energizing point of life after Saturn return, where you're like picking up from the rubble, this is late fifties, early sixties, and moving forth in a different reality. And wanting to shift your purpose because your old purpose no longer aligns with you. You have a new identity now. And then even right down to younger generations, Gen Z after college or whether college was worth it. Deciding what to do after this massive endeavor, finding a job in this economy. Every generation is navigating different points of their lives when it comes to their purpose. And I say purpose a lot on this podcast instead of job or career because purpose is different than a job. A job, it's necessary. There's nothing wrong with it. A job gets you from point A to B. right? It gets your basic needs done. But your purpose not only is absolutely beautiful when it fits your basic needs, but also when it starts to fit the higher you go on Maslow's hierarchy of needs. So your basics, food, shelter, the things that you need to survive. And then everything in addition comes on top of doing something that is also aligned with you spiritually. So that's the extra accoutrement that purpose adds versus job. Job, it's fulfilling the basics. Purpose is fulfilling everything. When you're in alignment truly with it, And it's what you were meant to do. And it was what you were meant to be in this lifetime. It's something that is so easy for you, but you're having so much fun doing it at the same time that it doesn't feel like a job. It doesn't feel like work. And once you find your purpose, and once you find your purpose in this lifetime, you don't have to work a day in your life. When you are stepping into your light and your truth, you won't have to work a day in your life. You'll have to put in work in terms of your dreams. But when you understand and feel and know what you were meant to do in this lifetime and what you were meant to lend to the collective, it makes it easier for the river of abundance to come towards you, breaks through that dam. So we're going to talk about purpose in today's podcast episode. And as that pertains to one of the core parts of your birth chart, the sun. So we're going to dive deep into the sun. We're going to learn about how the sun is extremely important in astrology, debunk some myths about the sun, teach you about your solar compass, teach you about your solar compass, which is going to be like your superpower in your purpose and in your profession. And we are going to talk more about alchemy and and what the sun looks like in the twelve zodiac signs. So let's get into today's episode. And what's so beautiful about twenty twenty six is since we are in Pluto in Aquarius, all of this occult information that was used by elites like top one percent only had access to these books or were able to hire professional astrologers that would inform them and advise them on what is going on astrologically when it comes to their money or what to invest in or where the next era is going to be. This information was for the elites and now it is available to anyone. And astrologers are doing podcasts and doing things like this so that you all can truly understand this divine wisdom for entirely free. Whereas back then, just take JP Morgan, for example. This is like the big banking financier from back in the day. Take JP Morgan. He had Evangeline Adams. was a famous astrologer on payroll so he was someone who's very very wealthy but allegedly he was also the one that said that billionaires use astrology allegedly i know that the evangeline adams relationship was proven but we don't know if he actually said that but I learned more and was reminded about this fact that now we're in such a democratized era of all this information and it's so diverse. There's different thoughts. But back then, even before J.P. Morgan's time, it was for rich people. So I went to the Morgan Library Tarot exhibit, which was absolutely fabulous. Suggest you all go and see it. It's until like October sixth. So you have a little more time, but I recommend you all go see it if you are able to, because it was absolutely fabulous. And JP Morgan was very much into the occult arts. So it makes sense that they had the tarot exhibit there and y'all it was packed. And my pal and I that I went with had to literally, we got tickets for a weekday because we thought, okay, the weekends were like getting sold out, that there'll be less people during the week. it was packed on a Tuesday. So Tarot sells, like there were a lot of people at the exhibit. I was so happy to see that. And it was really enlightening. I learned some new things that I didn't know about Tarot. And I was reminded of how elite these practices were and just how much modern times the modern tools have democratized this information. And now, if you don't want to learn astrology, but you're going to sit around and say you don't believe in it, it's like, well, don't. at least learn about it and then talk shit. But it's like, if you learned about it, you'd probably end up liking it. But it's like, there's no excuse now to not know about it or even find someone like me, a free astrologer to just follow along and watch and keep up with what's going on so that you have access to this information. And one thing that Evangeline Adams did, which was Morgan's astrologer, was she helped to popularize sun sign horoscopes in like magazines, newspapers. So she wanted to get the information out there like this, but she would definitely have had a podcast if she were alive today. But it was just wild for me to see just how elite these practices were. And I wanted to just share some videos with you guys. So when you first get to the main area and you enter, they have such a super cool, I thought it was a cool tarot sign. And just look at the artistry above it. Elite. I mean, there's something to be said about it. The JP Morgan utilized this and look at, and we all know, of course he had white privilege, but that white privilege compounded on understanding and having the privilege to know this information. That's what he got. So also this was really beautiful. This was in the front main area immediately as you come in, but look at this luxurious silk robe with the zodiac signs. Okay, you can't tell me that isn't elite. That is elite, elite, okay? And honestly, I would absolutely love to wear this tee. SOTY, I would wear that. Y'all know I would. And I just wanted to show you all, look at the cards. Look at the foiling in these cards. Just unreal. So these cards had to be about from fourteen hundred. Like there were some very old items. at this exhibit i mean from renaissance and then like medieval which is pretty old so they had one half of the exhibit was basically a modern interpretation which i'll show some picks and video from that side but this is from the like medieval renaissance like the older origins of tarot they even had egypt and i can like try to pop up some of the egypt stuff and this was really nice like they also had a mix of art as well interpretations this is from the modern side loved this interpretation Super cool. I loved the chariot there. And of course they did have some of the, this was absolutely amazing. These are from like the fifties. Appropriate, appropriate. They had such great eclectic mix. So my friend, and this is from the medieval side, they mixed a lot of biblical iconography and imagery with the tarot, which I thought was really interesting, considered biblical. Obviously there was some fractures with the church and the occult. So yeah, I thought this was a beautiful image. This is Mary and she's like a divine feminine deity, essentially. She's a divine feminine deity from the Bible. And it's just interesting. that juxtaposition of Catholicism, Christianity, and the tarot. But you can just see how luxury a lot of the pieces are from that era, like gold foil, real silks, luxury, expensive. And of course we have Pamela Coleman Smith, Rider Waite, tarot deck. This is an earlier edition, and this is the best-selling tarot deck of all time. So this was created by Pamela Coleman Smith, and then it was commissioned by Arthur Waite. So hence the Rider Waite Smith, name of the deck. And they were both members of the Golden Dawn. This was a occultic organization from, it was like the earlier twentieth century. And I think that they had base in New York City and London, but they came up with this deck together and it was magic. But they had this, I use it, I have mine right here. Love this deck. It always comes through. And there've been so many renditions of this deck because since it was made so long ago, it's actually fair use. So this is why you see so many publishing houses reproducing them, certain editions of them. You also see people utilizing some of the symbolism in their own modern decks. And the Rider Waite tarot deck is actually like the structure now of the modern tarot, which is beautiful. So that was really beautiful to see. And let me share one more thing, just one more thing. It was just such a fascinating exhibit. And I think if any of you are in the New York City area until October, definitely go and see the Tarot exhibit at the Morgan Library. So what I thought was really interesting was my friend and I went then to look at the rest of the library and we learned about Belle DaCosta Green. So she was the first librarian and director And she basically worked for JP Morgan, but she on the low was black. So she passed for white and essentially started working at JP Morgan. And she had this like elaborate office, absolutely elaborate office. But I find it so interesting because it's like, we have JP Morgan, the story of like, white patriarchal favor essentially and then working underneath him which i'm sure that she supported a lot of things that he was doing like a lot of things probably couldn't have happened without her we have someone who's essentially a dark feminine figure where she has to hide certain truths about ourselves especially being part black back in those days to even be able to get a job and to be taken seriously and her office was stunning And this was The Office. Absolutely. And here's more video of the library. Like, they don't make things like this anymore. Absolutely stunning. Stunning. So a lot more to unpack there. I'm going to post more content. And of course, there are some barriers. There are some ways that industries are being silenced and certain things aren't being said, but compared to back then, this has all been democratized. So I want to implore you, like, start to dig deep into your natal chart start to understand more about astrology the bigger cycles that are going on and start to apply it in your life and it's just taking those daily steps listen to your favorite astrologer read their newsletter i have a newsletter every week i go over what's in the stars and things that are important for you so that does not mean that it belonged in these elite circles. So it doesn't mean that it just belonged in these elite circles, but they also are now democratized. And this aligns with Pluto in Aquarius, this democratization of generational wealth and knowledge that has been passed down for generations that was only seen as elite. Even right down to what some financial advisors are putting out on YouTube or on social media, secrets that only certain chosen few just a hundred years ago only really had access to or books that have been published. So right now, take advantage of this revolution of knowledge. This is Uranus and Gemini as well. And now today, the access has completely changed. And now people who were excluded from these elite circles can have access to this information. Before we can understand the sun as a part of the astrological chart, symbology. We should understand what the sun actually is astronomically. So think about it. The sun is a molten ball of hot lava in the center of our solar system and is bright AF. And basically is one of the main reasons why we are all alive today. on earth today and feel sunny and warm. So think about that. It's the center. And it's this light that makes life possible. We need that external power source in order to actually move. It's our energy. It's our vitality. And it's what makes light possible here on earth. That's why we have light and dark. And the sun allows us to see. It illuminates the dark. It's bright. And we can't stop looking in the direction of light, right? Even though sometimes it can be too much, right? And when you're looking at eclipses, be careful. But it represents the illuminating and center, energy center. It represents an illuminating and organized energy center for your personality or identity and the core essence of who you are. So the sun at its core represents the core self in astrology. And this is also the ego, your vitality. So remember I was saying about like your energy and the sun, is our life force here on earth. Like we need the sun's fire and vitality and energy. It's your conscious identity, personal will, your personal and inner strength, vitality, energy, self-expression, confidence, your visibility. It's how you shine in this lifetime. It's the conscious development. It's the inner work. It's the self-actualization. So the sun is not every part of your personality. So when people are like, oh, I'm a Gemini, so I must be this way. Oh, I'm an Aries, so I'm this way. And that's only a part of the equation. So the sun does not describe every facet of a person. It instead represents the conscious core identity of And it is the organizing center within the chart in tropical astrology, also called Western astrology. So I want to also reiterate, which I'm sure everybody listening knows this, but this is tropical astrology that I'm talking about. And we definitely believe the sun is extremely important. And we'll go over more of those facets as well. So... Sun is conscious core identity. And then we have a placement like your ascendant. And sometimes people get confused with sun and ascendant. Remember we talked about all those things about vitality and energy and consciousness with the sun, with the ascendant, this is an unconscious behavior. This is how you unconsciously show up. And this is your unconscious mask, essentially, that eventually slips. So the rising is more of a first impression. And it is also how you view the world. It's the lens in which you view the world. The moon is your internal emotions, your instinctual needs. And this is a very internal... and unconscious and more visceral part. So your moon describes your internal needs and patterns. This can also represent family, ancestry, relationship with the mother and moon is definitely more unconscious as well. Sun is conscious and we've got Venus for attraction and Mars for drive, but the sun, is your core self and the identity that you are learning more to embody, especially as you get older. There was this theory that you become more like your son, especially after your Saturn return, which I have seen. I could see that, maybe even sometimes older, depending on the person. But you are not your son anymore. Most people, sometimes some people find it fast, but a lot of people take some time to truly embody their sun. So this is why it's so important to know your sun. What zodiac sign is your sun in? I think that is the best first start to unlocking some of the answers to these questions around your purpose. Because when the question starts with purpose, it then leads to money. It then leads to relationships. It's like purpose unlocks so much. And the sun is such a poor area of the chart to do so. So... We're going to dive into more about sun signs later in this podcast. But next up, I want to dive a little bit into some solar mythologies. because it really helps in astrology to understand, of course, the planet from an astronomical perspective, but then also some of the mythology that the sun is based around, because that can also give you more of an idea of how the sun operates and manifests in life. Across cultures, the sun has been associated with vitality, energy, cosmic order, vibrance, divine authority, vision, and in Greek mythology, Helios is the personification of the sun. He travels across the sky and Helios traveled across the sky and he was able to see from a higher advantage what others could not. And so this is why the sun is associated with light and sight and shining a light on darkness. And the things that we cannot see. So when you think about the sun in your natal chart, it's like you're shining a light on an area that's your strength, your energy, your vitality, like you're going to get a lot of drive and passion through this. So Knowing where your sun is shines that mythological light on a place where it may have been unseen for you and you did not know or realize before. And there's also Apollo as well. And Helios is typically the primary personification of the sun in earlier Greek tradition. Apollo also is associated with prophecy, which is interesting because a lot of the moon is associated with this intuition, but there is prophecy associated with the ancient Apollo mythical archetype, knowledge, healing, music, clarity, and that adds another dimension to the sun. And the sun is the light of consciousness. It reveals the truth and gives creative intelligence form and manifestation. It's how we can get things done. And the sun is also masculine. The sun is naturally masculine. And I'm not talking about man-woman. So when I talk about masculine-feminine in regards to the occult and to mysticism and to astrology, I'm talking about the way that an energy operates. And the sun is a masculine archetype. Even some of the female deities that were solar deities, through some of my research that were female, they had masculine traits. So the sun is masculine. And in astrology as well, the sun rules over the zodiac sign of Leo. So the sun is at home in Leo and can truly shine the brightest. So this is why Leo gets that reputation of the center of attention, the star of the show, centering of one's gifts and creativity. They're very active, a lot of physical activity. They're very fierce. They go after certain things, like ready to strike, loyal. You have to take a look at the archetype So when you take a look at the archetype of the sun, you take a look at the archetype of the zodiac sign, the sun rules over. You can really see the vibrance and the energy and the external masculine energy that just oozes off of the sun as a mythical expression. So Apollo adds another layer. And I also did some research on Amaterasu. So I also did some research on a goddess, Amaterasu. So I did some research on Amaterasu, who is a Japanese Shinto goddess. This is a solar goddess. And one of her essential myths, she retreats into a cave, depriving the world of her light until she is already dead. So I did some research on Amata Saru, and she is a Japanese Shinto traditional solar goddess. Because we talk about a lot of masculine deities for the sun, which makes sense, and there's nothing wrong with that. But I wanted to give an example of a female deity that has the masculine energy. And in one of her myths, she retreats into a cave, depriving the world of her light. And then that's until she is drawn out again. And so symbolically, this is like another dimension of the sun. And this is like, what happens when we hide our light out of like a reaction out of trauma, we withdraw our consciousness and our presence. or become disconnected with the part of ourselves that gives life and coherence to the world. And I felt that her mythology really connected to what we are experiencing from now until twenty twenty eight during the eclipses between Leo and Aquarius. So a lot of people are experiencing this right now that they have to move past old traumas and old challenges that have triggered them into blocking their own light from the world. So in Amaterasu's mythology, it's like the lesson in the earth didn't get its nourishment and didn't get its life force because of her locking herself away in reaction to something. And this is what happens to the world when you don't shine your light. So a lot of you guys are moving past these mental roadblocks that stopped you from moving forward with certain things or stalling on certain things or staying in a situation that no longer is allowing you to shine your light. And this is the next six months. So now I want to connect the mythology, the astronomy to the astrology of the sun. So these myths help explain who the sun is, how the sun operates in the physical world. And the astronomy explains the actual real science behind the sun. And so the sun illuminates, it sees, it creates truths. It empowers, it energizes, it brings vitality. And in astrology, your natal sun represents the part of you learning to become conscious of yourself. This is who you are becoming. This is the adult you. And it shows where you're developing the authority to live from an internal source of identity instead of relying on the external. Because the sun doesn't rely on the external, right? The sun is relying on itself. Like we have the science behind that, but it is generating all of that energy and vitality all on its own and shining it onto the world, onto us, onto the collective. So that is your son's job and your charge to do astrologically is you step into the highest, highest version of who you truly are, whether you're a Gemini sun in the eighth or you're a Leo sun in the fifth, which would be a beautiful placement. you are stepping into the highest timeline for that specific placement. And in doing that, that unlocks doorways to more money, abundance, ease, pleasure, joy. So next up, we're going to talk about the ecliptic. And this is also why the sun is still extremely important in astrology. The ecliptic is the apparent path of the sun. So this is the path of the sun that traces through the sky over the course of a year. And this is from our perspective on earth. So it's the apparent path of the sun. So it's a mathematical path. And we observe the sky from earth And the Earth moves around the sun. So we observe the sky from Earth. The Earth moves around the sun. And from our perspective, the sun appears to move against the background of the sky. And so then that is the apparent path of the sun called the ecliptic. And the moon and the stars... And the moon and the planets also remain relatively close to this pathway. This is also what it means when a planet is out of bounds. I won't get into that. Out of bounds is so interesting. It really is. But that's also what out of bounds means in astrology is when a planet or the moon dips below the ecliptic, a certain delineation on the ecliptic. And it usually means that it amplifies that planet's energy even more. There's a lot of interesting manifestations that can come from an out-of-bounds planet. But we'll get into it right now. So the apparent annual path of the sun is called the ecliptic. The moon and the planets also remain fairly close to the ecliptic. And the ecliptic also organizes the zodiac. The zodiac is organized along the ecliptic. And also the zodiac is organized along the ecliptic. Exactly. So I want to just like go back to a post that I don't think it's going viral, whatever. It got a lot of views and a lot of commentary. So some people that were like, yeah, agreed. And then there were some people who literally were proving my point. And I basically said that. Essentially, from what I have seen as a astrologer and a Scorpio astrologer, that no other sign but Scorpio gets people like pissed. if you tell them because they have like a black moon Lilith and Scorpio, or they have a Scorpio rising, or like they have Pluto and Scorpio, but it's on their ascendant, that they get mad about it. If you say like, oh, well, that doesn't make you a Scorpio. They get pissed about it. And people got pissed that I said that. And we're like, well, we're all Scorpios. And it's like, no, we're not. And I think that... because I was in that wave on the internet with astrology. I was working at tarot.com around that time, like early two thousand tens. And we were all like wanting to get people to look at other planets besides the sun. So we would say you're not just your sun sign a lot and talk about like your Venus, your Mars, like all the good stuff. And now I've seen it evolve to like, like your rising sign is the same thing as the sun or your moon is, because you have a Scorpio moon, it's like, you're basically, you're a Scorpio. Or like, if you have a Gemini rising, like, oh, I'm a Gemini. And it's like, that's not, that's not, it doesn't make sense. So I wanted to put that post up, obviously. As a Scorpio sun, I couldn't stray away from a little controversy, but it also showed me just how polarizing understanding astrology is like real like astrology. And I wanted to clear that up in this podcast episode as well, because the sun not only is extremely important in the natal chart, it's not pop astrology anymore. to deeply understand your sun and to place importance on it because it dictates the zodiac. It's a parent path, the ecliptic, creates the zodiac, also the seasons, the equinoxes. And when someone asks you, this is a common astrology theme, what's your zodiac sign? You're talking about the sun. What season was... your son in, when were you born? That's what people are asking. So if you're in an everyday conversation with someone, they're like, oh, what's your sign? And you say Gemini because you're a Gemini rising. Well, they're going to think you're talking about Gemini sun. If you want to get fancy and be like, oh, I'm a Gemini sun, Leo, or I'm a Gemini rising Leo sun. Sure. But let's be correct because saying you are a certain sign, means that the sun was in a specific season during your birth. So the ecliptic is incredibly important. The sun is incredibly important. And yes, there are other planets, there are other placements, there are asteroids. There is so much having to do with the natal chart and birth chart. but that does not take away from what the sun means. And that's all I wanted to say about that. So let's dive into the ecliptic and the tropical zodiac a little bit more. And so the tropical zodiac, this is Western astrology, is a three hundred sixty degree circle and divides the zodiac. And there are different house systems. There's whole sign. There's Placidus. There's equal. There's a lot of different house systems that different types of astrologers use. I won't get too far into that. That's for a different episode. And also, the tropical zodiac shows the four seasonal turning points. So we've got Aries begins the March equinox. And then Cancer is the June solstice. Libra begins September equinox and Capricorn December solstice. So the tropical zodiac is anchored with these equinoxes and solstices. So this is what's different about tropical versus also there's sidereal. And I know there's a lot of talk online, people preferring sidereal, do what you gotta do. But with sidereal, that is a completely different system where they look more at where the planet is visually. So it's about like a thirty degree difference. So completely different system, more power to it, but I'm talking about tropical here. So the solstice, the equinox, all of that is extremely important. the sun is extremely important in astrology and understanding the ecliptic more, it'll give you a different idea of what's the anchor in astrology. Cause it's like, oh, So when the sun is on its parent path and it's in Gemini, that means Gemini, that point, that house is extremely active for me. And this is going to empower me into who I truly am. So also the cardinal signs are important. associated with initiation in astrology, the leaders. And they are Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn. So these are the zodiac signs that brought in the equinox and solstices. They're associated as well. They're cardinal signs. So they're the initiators and they bring in the seasons. So there's another added importance to the sun. So the zodiac signs also are not just like personality categories. And they represent twelve phases of living in a solar cycle of initiation, development, culmination, release, renewal. They are the cycle of life. I talk a little bit about that in my book, Black Moon Lilith Rising. Yeah, I base Certain facets on the certain life cycle areas of the sun, sun's journey. Aries birth, Pisces going off into the unknown, death. Yeah. So the sun sign tells us which phase of that cycle the sun was occupying. when you were born. So also that phase of life is going to be extremely important for you. Cause if, if the Zodiac, each of the twelves phase of the Zodiac discuss an area of life, that's going to be super important for you. So literally Gemini communication, Gemini is associated with childhood education in that phase of life. going through childhood learning development, but then also communication, your locality. So it's like you can get information from what sign your sun is in. So it also locates your annual season of light. When you have more energy, naturally around the time of your birthday, your solar return, is a great time for intention setting. You have more energy looking at your solar return birth chart. You have a solar return where you can literally cast a chart about the year ahead, where you can literally cast a chart about the year ahead and make predictions. At least I can do that. Check out consultations on lilithastrology.com for readings. But Understanding your sun and your sun sign is so important. And there's no point in learning anything else about astrology if you don't know your sun in and out. I wanted to share with all of you the sun card. And this is in my Black Moon Lilith Cosmic Alchemy Oracle card deck. Very, very proud of this deck. And the sun is something you become. It's your soul's purpose. So it's an extremely potent part of spiritual alchemy. And I talk a lot about this in my deck, Black Moon Lilith, Cosmic Alchemy Oracles. So the sun is something that you become. It's not automatic. As I said, it takes time, takes experiences, and they represent qualities that we must... And they represent qualities that we must... And it can represent qualities that we must consciously develop. So understanding your sun... makes it so much easier than having to guess or to go by all of this experience and waste all this time. It's like, well, I can identify what these specific areas of life are with my son. And sometimes people are like, oh, I don't relate to my son's sign. Well, that's why. Because it's, unless you're lucky where you have Sun conjunct moon, where who you feel on the inside and emotionally is the same as your core essence of being. In the first house, conjunct descendant helps as well. So it really depends on your chart, how much you're going to feel like your son, but this is a big reason why a lot of people may say that. And the moon is also what feels more instinctive, more familiar internally and the rising time. And the rising sign is what people notice first. It's your mask. So as you get to know someone or you become a part of a situation, that mask slips and you are no longer that sign. So I wanna now talk about, let's talk about the solar internal compass. This is a secret weapon that you can use in navigating your purpose, your profession, and how to really dig deep and tap into this masculine energy of the sun, your solar internal compass. So it doesn't tell you everything that you want or provide you the exact destination, but it will give you hints, clues, and ideas so it may not give you the title of the job or the name of the company but it can instead help you identify whether a path is consistent with your core identity if it supports your energy your vitality and the idea of the person that you are becoming and when the external world is unstable like it is right now coming home to your son is really effective and really empowering in helping you navigate what's the next point? Where should I go? What's the next decision? So here are some times when returning to your solar internal compass may be helpful for you. So this is when a job or a contract ends. A career no longer feels meaningful. An industry is changing. A business model stops working. Your professional identity becomes too limiting. Financial pressure begins influencing every decision. You have succeeded at something but no longer want to continue doing it any longer. You have several possible paths and cannot determine which one feels like yours. You know change is necessary but cannot yet see its new form. It's really important to take a moment when you're at a crossroads like this. And first I want you pause this video for a second and go to astro.com. Go to one of these popular astrology, free calculator websites, any one of your choice. And I want you to input your information and find your son. And it's super easy to do that. And it's based on the month and day. You can also Google it. Google is free. Find your sun. And then come back and we're going to go over some questions that are going to help you align with it. Can I embody? So the first question, does this direction allow me to express this sun sign? So that's something to just think deeply about. Some deeper questions along those lines are, will this path strengthen or suppress this identity? And the next question is, is this decision consistent with my developing identity? And a way to take that deeper is, does this path require healthy growth or the abandonment of this core identity? And then we have, who will I become on this path? Is this identity, am I repeating an identity I've already outgrown? If you want to take it even deeper. So the sun is the starting point for this. So if you find out you're an Aquarius sun, it's important for to know what Aquarius is all about as a zodiac sign, what jobs are associated with Aquarius, what purpose is associated with Aquarius, to even know how to move forward. So it's the starting point. And we're going to go over each of the twelve sun signs in a moment. Before we head into each of the twelve zodiac signs and the vitality and essence that they radiate, Let's chat a little bit about my audio workshop with Hay House, your cosmic purpose. And now let's get into the twelve zodiac signs. Aries, the initiator, the first sign of the Zodiac, cardinal fire. Aries is a cardinal fire sign. That is why they are known as the initiators and the leaders of the Zodiac. They bring in the spring equinox. This is the first season. This is also the first sign of the Zodiac bringing in the Aries word is initiate. It's like a match and striking the fire of life, essentially. So when we really think of the sun, the sun is actually exalted in Aries and loves to be in Aries. So while the sun rules over Leo, the sun really loves to be in Aries as well, too, and can truly function and choose itself. So when Aries are in alignment, So when they are in alignment with their purpose, they can take meaningful action, create momentum, make quick decisions, lead and trust their right to begin with a new decision without questioning it or second guessing it. And when they are misaligned, there can be a intentional step that's needed in order to have forward momentum. There can be delay, there can be uncertainty, there can be feeling disempowered, feeling unsure of how to move forward. And when we think of Aries, Aries are the mythical gods of the underworld. And we think of Aries, the god of war. Aries is physical. Aries needs a purpose where they can initiate and lead and charge ahead and blaze a new trail. So aligning yourself with roles and careers like an entrepreneurial career would be great for Aries placements. Entrepreneurialism is actually really great for Aries sons, but they need to feel like they are blazing their own trail ahead. Taurus suns are the cultivator. They are fixed earth. And fixed earth is solid ground. Fixed means that they are stable, able to make a decision, steadfast, and definitely firm in their position on life. And Taurus is stable. role here on earth is to cultivate, to bring sustenance, to bring abundance. And they develop through stability, embodiment, consistency, and creating tangible value. So when you are in your purpose, Taurus, you'll feel like you have self-worth, you have the stewardship and you have the authority to make certain decisions. You feel like your path is sustainable. You don't feel burnt out and you have the ability to cultivate and create and to create something that will last. And when you are feeling uncertain or misaligned, it's important for you to return to your self-worth and value because when you're not in alignment, you can feel like you're not getting paid enough. You're not being valued for your time and your skills, your talent, your creations. And you also may not be growing something or planting something or creating something or tasting something. Taurus suns need to have the sensory experience within their purpose. So if you're not able to do any of those things, that can be really deflating for you. Gemini suns are the messenger. So Geminis are mutable air. Mutable is changeable. It can be easily moldable. Mutable can mold themselves easily to other situations. They're great at following direction. And air, light is air. And air, when it's in a room, it conforms to that room, right? Or when you open the door to that room, that air leaves and escapes and it's conforming that it's like taking up the outside, you know? So thinking about the modality and the element of Gemini, it's so aligned with its path as the messenger. So you develop through communication, learning, observation, that's your area of life you're associated with. is development, learning, childhood, and the exchange of ideas is really important to you. So when you're in your purpose, you feel like you're creating connections with others, you are communicating with others, you're out and about, you're engaged with life, you're social. Having a very mentally active job is really important for you. And when you are not aligned, when you're not feeling like you're in your purpose, you may feel like you are trapped. You're bored. You feel like there is no excitement. There's no fun. Everything's challenging. Everything's just different. And you... feel in alignment when you are able to get outside of that. So during times like this, it's important to return to your curiosity, to think about what drives you, what makes you excited, what makes you happy, and that's the best place for Geminis to start. Cancer Sun, the guardian. Yes, they are cardinal water bringing in the summer. And cardinal water, they are the leaders of the zodiac as well. In terms of their leadership, though, it's very much protective. Cancer, of course, is associated with the mother. And cancer gives that tiger mommy, nurturing, protective energy. And they develop through their emotions and navigate the world through their emotions and being able to use their emotions, their natural nurturing, their ability to protect and guard in their purpose and in their life. and in their work is so fulfilling to them. So when they are in their purpose, they feel like they are cultivating emotional intelligence. They're creating genuine connections. They're creating security for others. They are creating even like a home atmosphere for other people. This could be things like real estate or design, interior design. And when they're in alignment, Cancer creates spaces where vulnerability, trust, and authentic care can exist. When you're in alignment, you're creating spaces like this. You're creating moments like this. This is part of your purpose. But when you are off kilter, you're not in alignment, you may feel like your emotions are not being honored at the place you are. You may feel like there is no reason, there is no care, there is no passion in terms of where you currently are. You have a passion for other people. Cancers are also a people placement. It's like Lady Diana was a cancer son. I think she was also a I'm going to say cancer. I don't know if cancer rising, but I know cancer sun for sure. But you can see how she truly cared for people and that nurturing vibe. And that was just a natural part of her work and her purpose. But when you are not involved in positions like that, it can make you feel emotionally drained. It can cause an emotional drought within. So it's so important for you to always observe yourself. the career you're in or in the position that you're in and making sure that it's feeding and, and, and nurturing your son and what truly aligns and makes you feel passionate and alive inside so that you can continue that every single day. And we have the Leo son, the creator and Leo is fixed fire. So fixed fire is, I liken fixed fire to one that is a bit more contained. I liken fixed fire to one that can do some damage if it escapes, but it's one that can be trained, contained, so that it can burn and actually create the effect that you want. So Leo develops through creativity, visibility, confidence, and self-expression externally. Leo is extremely active. The sun is at home. It's most vibrant, star of the show. And Leos are... a creative authority in the zodiac. They are also leaders of the zodiac. And one positive facet of Leo is they have courage. So when a Leo is in alignment, they feel like they are creating from the heart. They feel very passionate about what they are creating. They are able to inspire others and get feedback. They live and need praise and applause, and not in a bad way, that this is part of being a Leo. And when they're in alignment, they feel like they are getting all of that. But when they are misaligned, they may feel like they have lost their creative authority and autonomy, that they must do certain things that don't truly align with them and that can make them feel depleted. And that can make them feel less vibrant and more deflated. And if they're hiding certain facets, so when a Leo, their light has been wounded because of external situations like childhood or ancestral trauma, and they hide certain parts of themselves, like in the story of the Japanese solar goddess hiding herself, and then the world doesn't receive that light. So, It's important for Leo to recognize that they are here to be that light. And it's important to identify what could be stopping you from shining that light. We have Virgo. Virgo sun is the refiner. Yes. So Virgo is mutable earth. This is the variation found in nature of small plants, animals. This is the beautiful ecology of the planet. And mutable earth definitely moves around and is someone who can mold themselves practically to a situation and choose the best. while leaving the not so good parts of a situation. So the core identity of Virgo is through discernment, analysis skill, improvement, taking something and making it even better and shinier. And they are extremely diligent at this. And when in alignment Virgo is able to use their discernment and their intuition to make a situation better without feeling vilified for it. So it's like their job to make something better or more beautiful. Some Virgos can also work with plants. They may love to work with small animals and they may also love to create something, whether it's out of wood or natural materials, but Virgos are a sign that is very much of the earth. They are also in alignment when they can be work driven, when they can have a schedule and they have a lot of diligence. When they are feeling uncertain, When they are in an uncertain situation, when they are not in their purpose, they may feel like they're getting vilified and crucified all of the time simply for giving their opinion on how something can improve. They're in a space where that level of wisdom is not accepted and they're feeling hurt. persecuted for it and they're not able to truly shine. So it's so important to take a look at situations like that where you're not able to truly be yourself, Virgo, and release that because it's actually your superpower to be right. You heard it here first. It's your superpower to be right. It's your superpower to be able to look at the details and to change things and to make them better. So it's time to change that situation if it's not allowing you to truly shine in that capacity. Libra sun, the harmonizer. Very beautiful Libra. This is the cardinal air sign of the zodiac. So fall equinox is what Libra brings in, but Libra is the scales and the justice, equality. This is why Libra is called the harmonizer because Libra harmonizes the descent of from life and into the underworld. And you must be judged. This is going back to the Egyptian myth, even though these two things don't technically have relation to one another. I love giving this example, but this is the Egyptian weighing of the hearts against a feather before you go into the afterlife. And it was a scale that was used, the justice scale. And Libra is all about relationships, balance, beauty, fairness, equality, other perspectives, seeing other sides. So that's what Libra is known for. And they can really shine in positions like that. I think this is why there's a lot of Libra politicians or people who want to hold public office and fight for certain justices and certain equalities because it's super in alignment for their sign to do that. And of course, working for the justice system with the scales. So when Libra is in alignment, Libra creates equitable relationships. They feel like what they are giving and taking are balanced and What they have discovered about themselves is in alignment to who they are, and they don't allow outside influences to change that. Libras can sometimes be swayed to try to balance the scales and harmonize. But when you're in alignment, you don't do that. And you can hear and see multiple perspectives, but not surrender your personal truth. And then when you're feeling uncertain or you're not feeling like you're in your purpose, returning to balance and self-definition is super important as well too. And like, you may feel like you are trying to people please, and you are not truly able to articulate your truth, articulate your opinion, whether you're in like a, corporate setting and you're a boss and you feel like you're kind of shackled by an organization or whether you work for yourself and you're having a hard time like starting yourself up and managing yourself you may feel because you're a Libra I must also warn that like with the sun being exaltation in Aries the opposite is true with Libra and the sun is in fall in Libra So obviously we have the fall equinox, but the reason why the sun is in fall is because there is an extra challenge to the sun self-actualizing because as I said, it has to do with relationships. So this is the best shadow work that a Libra sun can do is to dig in to your own core self, who you truly are without the relationship, without marriage, without a partnership, without a business partner, who are you and what are your needs? And that will then ultimately attract in the counterpart relationship that actually aligns with this true self. So the question that you have to ask yourself is how do I create that balance and that alignment without sacrificing myself and abandoning myself? Scorpio sun, the transformer. Yes, I am one too. So I get it y'all. But a Scorpio is fixed water. And of course, the scorpion is one of the symbols. And Scorpios are associated with death and rebirth and are associated with transformation and change. Death is quite literally a change that you cannot reverse or bring anyone back. And this is why Scorpios hold that energy within them and within their lives. So you can be attracted to roles and industries that align with this. So when Scorpios are truly embodied in this energy of transformation and depth, they are able to identify and work with what lies beneath the surface. And Scorpios are naturally uncovering the truth. Scorpio suns, when they are in their life purpose, they are able to decode and discuss occult information. Makes so much sense why I do what I do here. And Scorpio is a natural psychologist. And they're a natural detective and researcher. So positions and jobs and purposes that align with those facets of life can be really empowering for a Scorpio. And then on the opposite end, when they feel misaligned the most, it can be that They are not allowed to have an outlet for all of that hidden information they constantly have access to and naturally are able to uncover. They also may be gaslit and not believed in a position that they're at. So say you have to give strategy and some of your strategy comes from your intuition. If you can't prove it or it's something that's unseen and you need to see first, You need to get it out of the open. You need to actually test it. And no one believes you. That can be a really deflating feeling. So when you're not seen in a position for your gifts and your skills, especially your intuitive ones, you can feel so misaligned and not feel energized by that type of career at all. Scorpio sun, the seeker. Of course, right? Scorpio, Sagittarius sun, the seeker. Of course, right? Everyone knows this is the actual archetype of Sagittarius. It's the world traveler. Every Sagittarius I know loves to travel. It's very rare that you meet a Sagittarius that loves to travel, especially Sagittarius sun. And Sagittarius are a mutable fire sign. So they are associated with expansion. This is like a fire that is expanding past boundaries. This could even be an international fire, basically. And they need freedom. They need expansion. They need exploration, very externally driven. And they are a masculine fire sign. So when they're in their purpose, they are able to live in in the principles of freedom and no boundaries. They need to be able to do what aligns the most with them. whether it's in that moment or in the future, they want to be able to be an expressive free and run free. So they can feel misaligned when they are in positions that are restrictive and controlling and are not allowing them to run free essentially. So They can feel super aligned if they're in a role that allows them that, but they can feel misaligned when the opposite is true. So if they feel like they don't have any freedom, like they can't do what they want, like they can't learn and travel and explore and be in a different city every week, that can be really challenging for a Sagittarius son. And Capricorn's son is the builder. Makes total sense, right? Cardinal Earth. And yes, Capricorns are leaders as well. And yes, Capricorns are leaders as well. Leaders and builders. So Capricorn brings in the winter solstice. And this is also a cardinal earth sign. And the symbol is the mountain goat, which I don't know if you all have ever seen the videos of the mountain goat that are going around on social media. But first off, these are fearless goats. I mean, just climbing onto the highest of highs. And that is literally Capricorn, especially when the sun is there. So wisdom, maturity, You go through certain ups and downs in life that give you that wisdom and the old soul that you need to make different decisions the next time. And Capricorn respects the art of the climb and being able to master certain levels of before you go to the next one, responsible leadership as well. So when Capricorns are in alignment, they are able to build consistently every single day. They feel like they are getting praise. They are moving up the ladder. They aren't stagnant and they feel like they are working towards sustainability and longevity as well. So when a Capricorn is misaligned, they can feel like they are stunted. They're not able to move forward. There are no levels up in sight. They may feel like there's some jealousy in the workplace. So someone is keeping them down at a certain level that they don't have authority, that they're not able to build and that they're not able to climb. So all of those areas need to be in place for Capricorns to be super fulfilled, especially in their purpose, in their profession, in where they see their life going. They need to be able to feel like they can climb and continue rising. Aquarius Sun, the visionary. Of course. So Aquarius is fixed air. And I liken fixed air to be like fog, smog. So it's air that's very dense and sith. And Aquarius is definitely a steadfast air sign. in that regard. And Aquarius are all about the big idea. They are about pushing themselves forward. They are about pushing humanity forward. They love communities, large groups. They are forward thinkers. They're always the one trending. Something is a trend ten years from now and they had already been wearing it. Aquarius is always ahead of the game. So when they are in alignment, they are able to maintain their identity and their truth. And they're able to be out there and forward thinking and say all of these out there ideas without persecution or being made fun of or made to feel that it's not good enough. So they want to be able to also participate in their community. They want to feel like they're helping humanity in some way. There always has to be like a mission and that will feel more aligned with their purpose. And when they're feeling uncertain or they're feeling off purpose, they can feel like they're very much stunted. They're not able to connect with other people. They're not able to connect with a network. They love to be able to affect change in a large group of people. So if they feel cut out from that, that can be really deflating for an Aquarius. And they also enjoy freedom as well. So if a position does not give them the freedom to do something forward thinking, do something out of the box, do something that is against the tradition of that organization, they also can feel really off their purpose as well. And last but not least, the final sign of the zodiac, Pisces. So Pisces suns are the mystic, obviously, and you all are mutable water. So I always liken Pisces to the ocean and just the mystery of the depths of the ocean, how there are thousands of miles of uncharted areas and depths and nooks and crannies and valleys within the ocean that we will never know about and never see. And that really aligns to Pisces sun as a zodiac sign. And also what aligns to is the is the lack of prediction. Of course, we have science, we have tools to predict the weather, but at times, like the ocean, there can be a squall one minute and then sunny skies the next. It can be a whirlpool one minute and then nothing the next. So unpredictable emotions, deep emotions, creativity, fluidity. So Pisces is the mystic. And Basically, when Pisces is feeling in alignment, there needs to be some inspiration in what you're doing. Inspiration, it needs to come from a real place, a place of your true emotion, what you want to convey to the world. Creativity should be involved in what you do. A lot of you could be spiritual or religious, whatever it is that you choose is always really important to you. And sometimes you may change that later in life to align with the person that you're becoming. And imagination, being able to like create worlds, being able to create a fantasy here on earth is very much Pisces and Piscean. So when you are feeling off, Your purpose, Pisces. You can feel like you are bored. You can feel contained. Like think about like you're trying to contain the ocean. Like good luck. You can feel like there's no emotion. There's no creation involved in what you're doing. Maybe it could be like you're at a desk job. Meanwhile, you love to paint. You love to sing. You love... to do something completely out of that ordinary day-to-day schedule. So I think it's really important for you to ask yourself, Pisces, what is the vision for yourself? And start there. Now that we've gone over all twelve zodiac signs, let's just contemplate a little bit and do some alchemy work. So first, what mature quality of my son am I already expressing? Second question. Which solar quality am I being asked to develop? And the third question is, what is one choice I can make this week that is consistent with that developing identity? And on the platforms where I can have surveys, I'm definitely going to put the journaling prompts there. And you also can write these down in your notebook and take a moment to really think and observe.
