Welcome back, my cosmic witches. This week, we step deeper into Scorpio season, the heart of the underworld journey, where secrets, transformation, and reclamation of power become unavoidable themes. Last week’s New Moon in Libra helped you release illusions and re-establish equilibrium. Now, with the Sun firmly in Scorpio and several intense aspects activating, we enter a cycle of embodiment, no longer weighing the heart against the feather but walking consciously into our own metamorphosis.

This week continues the Scorpionic story of rebirth, shadow work, and empowerment. The cosmic spotlight now turns to the Sun, Mercury, Black Moon Lilith, and Mars all in Scorpio, igniting the themes of courage, raw communication, secrets revealed, and confrontation. Power dynamics and suppressed truths continue to unravel, both in our personal lives and in the collective narrative. Secrets exposed over the past week deepen in context now, offering insight into the psychological motives that drive behavior.
On Sunday, Oct. 26, the week begins with one of the most powerful alignments of the year. Mars, planet of will and desire, joins Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio, the dark feminine archetype of rebellion, autonomy, the marginalized, and raw truth. Together, they expose buried emotions, suppressed rage, and power struggles both personally and collectively.
You may feel pressure building in relationships, creative projects, or matters of sexuality and control. Globally, this energy reveals what’s festering in patriarchal and hierarchical systems. As I predicted back in my Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio workshop, we are witnessing the rise of fascist and misogynistic forces as old power structures lash out in fear. But exposure is liberation; the rot must surface before it can heal.
If you’ve felt powerless, this transit reminds you that reclamation begins within. Channel intensity into creative action or truth-telling rather than conflict. When wielded consciously, this is sacred alchemy. Rage transformed into courage, pain into empowerment, truth into the flames of freedom.
Meanwhile, Mars continues through Scorpio, forming trines to Jupiter (Oct. 28) and Saturn retrograde in Pisces (Oct. 29). These are powerful aspects of manifestation and mastery. Mars–Jupiter provides courage and faith in action, while Mars–Saturn gives strategy and endurance. This is also alchemy in motion: passion harnessed with purpose. Use this energy to launch a project, assert boundaries, or take decisive steps in your transformation process. Especially do this before Mercury Retrograde begins on Nov. 9 in Sagittarius (just an early warning).
By Tuesday, Oct. 29, Mercury enters Sagittarius, shifting our mental atmosphere from secrecy to disclosure. After weeks of deep introspection and psychological excavation in Scorpio, Mercury in Sagittarius opens the floodgates of expression, truth-telling, and perspective. I must also note that Mercury in Sagittarius is forming an opposition with Uranus in Gemini retrograde. Expect more sudden reveals, leaks, or outspokenness in the collective—from political confessionals to whistle-blowing stories that challenge authority. Individually, this transit may bring shocks, surprises, and change through verbal conflict or contracts. Perhaps the US government will be forced to reopen during this time?
Mother Moon moves through Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces this week, guiding us from determination into cleaning and detachment, and finally into emotional renewal. The Capricorn Moon (Oct. 26–28) kicks off the week with structure and responsibility; the Aquarius Moon (Oct. 29–31) awakens the call for authenticity within your own life; and the Pisces Moon (Oct. 31–Nov 1) opens the psychic channel to the underworld, providing you with an ancestral connection.
As we close October, we arrive at Samhain (pronounced - sow-en) on Oct. 31, which marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of the dark half of the year. Samhain is a Celtic Pagan holiday, also known as the Witches' New Year, representing the death-and-rebirth cycle, when the veil between worlds is thinnest and communication with ancestors, guides, and the spirit realm flows effortlessly. It’s a sacred time to honor what has passed, release what no longer serves, and prepare to be reborn into deeper self-awareness and soul alignment.
I am heavily feeling Samhain this year due to my recent discovery and revelations around my complex colonial lineage through AncestryDNA and tree discovery, English, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh ancestry as a result of the trans-Atlantic slave trade on my mother’s side. It's absolutely wild how detailed the records were kept. Many African Americans carry various percentages of European ancestry due to this complex historical atrocity of enslavement, and it's a heavy truth to hold and accept. While we hold the trauma of the enslaved, we also have the wounds of the colonizer and enslaver to transmute and heal too.
Secrets revealed about one’s lineage or family patterns are a common theme during Samhain, when truth rises from the depths to be integrated and transformed. My own familial discovery inspired this week's meditation, and I intend it to inspire your ancestral healing, too.
Samhain, also known as the Witches’ New Year, a portal of endings and new beginnings. It invites us to face our shadows, commune with our ancestors, and remember that death is not an end, but a metamorphosis of energy. As the Sun journeys through Scorpio and the Moon moves through mystical Pisces at week’s end, this Samhain on Halloween opens a psychic gateway for deep healing, ancestral forgiveness, and soul renewal.
This Samhain (Oct. 31) carries potent astrological symbolism even though we have not yet reached astrological Samhain. The Moon glides through ethereal Pisces and is activating the karmic north node of the Moon, Saturn, and Neptune when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. Spirit messages, dreams, and intuitive downloads come through clearly if you create stillness to receive them. The spirits are whispering not chaos, but closure.

Fire and water create steam. This is the elemental meeting of passion and emotion, truth and mystery. This week, the frozen waters of Scorpio dissolve under the sacred fire of Sagittarius, releasing the mist of revelation. What was concealed is illuminated; what was silenced finds its voice.

Aquarius energy liberates us, freeing us from illusions and outdated structures, while Lilith reminds us that freedom often begins with defiance.
As we move through Samhain and Scorpio season, the collective is shedding illusions about identity, relationships, and belonging. You may feel tension between your true self and what others expect of you, especially around love, lifestyle, or personal values. But this card affirms that it’s time to own your black sheep energy and stand unapologetically in your uniqueness.
This is a week to detach from projections and social conditioning that no longer reflect your evolution. What communities, ideologies, or dynamics feel restrictive? What versions of yourself were built for approval, not truth? Allow the sacred fire of transformation to burn through them. The message from Lilith here is clear: authenticity is your revolution. When you embody your truth, you not only liberate yourself, you permit others to do the same.
