Weekly Astrology Forecast
Tuesday, February 17: New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius
This week, eclipse season begins with the sun and moon meeting together in the sky in the zodiac sign of Aquarius. A Solar Eclipse is also a New Moon, and occurs when the Moon passes directly between the Earth and the Sun, blocking the sunlight. For a Solar Eclipse to take place, the Moon and Sun must align within 10 – 18° of either the North or South Nodes of the Moon, also called the Lunar Nodes. Symbolized by ☊ ☋, the Lunar Nodes are points in space where the Moon's orbit and the Sun's apparent path (ecliptic) intersect. They essentially represent your past life and current life direction, and the eclipses always follow the Lunar Nodes.
With this particular Solar Eclipse, the Sun and Moon are forming a conjunction at 28° in Aquarius. They are also forming a conjunction (connection) with Mars, the planet of drive, action, and anger, in Aquarius. Pluto, governing transformation and change, is also following close behind. This planetary alignment on a collective level is bringing protests, anger around fascism, and humanity's call to create change. This Solar Eclipse is waking the collective to the fact that the world's 1% owns a majority of the world's wealth and to the major inequities that exist. At the individual level, this lunation is bringing rapid change and evolution in the area of life where it's occurring for you.
This is also the first of a new 18-month cycle in Aquarius and Leo, which will bring further changes and growth in AI and technology across many white-collar and creative fields. Unfortunately, this will destroy many jobs and fields that were once considered stable. What world governments and corporations must consider is the effect this will have on society. If AI and robots take all of the jobs, who will be left to stimulate the economy and purchase all of their goods? This will have a negative impact on the global economy, and societies will push for regulations and laws to ensure this technology benefits humanity rather than harms it. The last time a similar eclipse and nodal cycle was experienced was in 2007, so think back to what happened for you personally. This was also when the United States was on the brink of a 2008 economic collapse and recession. This eclipse will affect Aquarius and Leo placements most, especially if you have the Sun, Moon, or Rising sign in those signs.
Wednesday, February 18: Sun enters Pisces
The day after this ground-breaking eclipse, we move into Pisces season as the Sun moves into the mutable water sign governing emotions and creativity. The Sun is joining up with the Moon, Mercury, Venus, and the North Node on this day. I must say that this is the first Pisces season we've experienced without Neptune since 2011, and also Saturn since 2022. I've discussed how challenging both transits have been, especially for Pisces placements, so this Pisces season will feel less emotionally heavy. As a matter of fact, you'll feel like you can move forward after a period of loss, reinvention, and new drive during your season. Mercury is also currently in its pre-retrograde shadow and gearing up for its retrograde period that begins on February 26 and will last throughout the Pisces season until March 20.
Friday, February 20: Saturn ☌ Neptune in Aries
This is the most impactful and important planetary aspect of the year. Saturn–Neptune conjunctions occur every 36 years, and the last one we experienced was on November 13, 1989, in the sign of Capricorn. Typically, this conjunction represents a restructuring and dissolution of old structures. We can think back to the fall of the Berlin Wall, which signaled the end of the Cold War, as a significant event of the time.
In terms of the one in the present day, this is extremely rare because it's at 0° in Aries, also called the world point in astrology. The most recent one I could find dates to 1742 BC, but the one today is even more precise. When I researched the 18th century BC, I found evidence of a shift toward urban city-states and international trade in the Middle Bronze Age. We can expect a major transformation globally in how we live and navigate society after this conjunction.
On a personal level, Saturn–Neptune conjunctions mark the moment a dream gets a reality check — and the reality check becomes the doorway to a new life chapter. In Aries, it’s about taking the initiative on your dreams, building a new identity, and committing to what you can’t “unsee” anymore. The most productive use of it is simple: name the vision, cut the confusion, and take the first concrete steps, even if the plan is still forming. What dissolves now was never meant to carry you forward; what remains becomes your new foundation.
As I always want to keep you all prepared as my Lilith Astro tribe, I do also see global violence escalating because of this planetary aspect. As I had emailed you directly about this before, I do foresee there could be a terrorist attack, or some form of mass violence around this date, potentially in the United States. It could be from February 20 onward into March. I encourage you to limit unnecessary travel and be mindful in your day-to-day work. This is not to scare you or create fear, but to prepare you and give you the knowledge to keep you all safe! Please mark this date in your calendar.

This week's card is "Moonlight Enchanted", and evokes the beauty of the mother Moon. Your life is about to be transformed in a beautiful way, and you're about to move into a more enchanted version of your life. The key is to believe in it. You may be coming out of a truly rough time, or have suffered some losses and are dreaming of when it will get better again. This card reminds you to set intentions and focus on the good as you process what's difficult. It may feel dark now, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This week, take time to breathe, journal, and release what is dulling your shine, and look forward to what the universe is bringing in for you after this season is complete.
