Adama's December 2019 Astro Report

What a month ahead full of interesting, ground breaking and inspiring energy! Mercury will be completing its post-shadow phase, and we can finally say goodbye to Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio on December 7th. Even though the actual Mercury retrograde ended on November 20th, each retrograde cycle has a two-week "shadow" period afterward, which means some of the energy remains and is still affecting us. From the 7th, you can proceed to act on all those challenges and decisions that have been delayed during the Retrograde cycle, as it would've enabled you enough introspection and analysis to come to a reasonable, informed conclusion.

The sky will be brightly lit with a Full Moon in Gemini on December 12th. The Full Moon will encourage you to let go of the stresses and mundane way you have been feeling and to let loose for a day! Avoid taking on complicated tasks this day and night as you will be feeling more lighthearted and in the mood to unwind and socialize! Communicating and expanding our perception through new experiences is also encouraged for the collective on this day.

Chiron entered Retrograde in July 2019 and will return to its direct motion in Aries on December 12th. Chiron spends a lot of time in retrograde, and after some time, when the energy has settled, we might not even notice its retrograde effects anymore. Healing ourselves into a more pure version of ourselves could have been challenging to do since July. Once Chiron is direct, you will start to see the real healing transpire. Being a prisoner to your wounds is something you can control, and gaging control over this will become much more comfortable with Chiron in direct motion.

December 26th, there will be a New Moon and Annular Solar eclipse in Capricorn. An Annular eclipse happens when the moon is at apogee (the furthest point from Earth). Usually, people use the new year to set their resolutions, their intentions, and their goals. The night of the 26th, the energy of Capricorn will initiate and put into motion whichever goals and plans you have for the new year, so be sure to mark the 26th as the day you set your new year's resolutions for 2020. An Annular Solar eclipse encourages a steady motion directed toward change. On this day, we will have no choice but to consider how we are going to proceed into the next year, as collectively we could all face with a situation that forces you to make a decision that changes the course of everything.

Jupiter enters Capricorn after a year-long transit in Sagittarius on December 2nd.

Capricorn is Jupiter's fall position, and the energy of Jupiter does become restricted here. Although this transit can be daunting, it is crucial. Saturn (Capricorn's ruler) is about restrictions and limitations. Jupiter is about expansion and pushing the limits. This lovely transit will allow us to push the limits on the boundaries that you have set for yourself. Jupiter will aid in releasing and escaping your limitations, and to grow and rise above them. Make sure you implement the structure and orderly nature you possess with the blessings and luck that get sent your way, and things will work out in your favor.

Around December 21st is when a lot of people go on or are on the Christmas holidays. It is somewhat contradictory that most decide to ease on work when we enter the season that encourages and energizes hard work. It is suitable for us, however, to dedicate this time to our family, and not just our partners and kids, but siblings, aunts, cousins, uncles, and our extended family! Capricorn encourages great structure and hard work, but it is also a sign very concerned with family and tradition.

December 21st is also the start of the great Capricorn Stellium of January 2020. From the 21st, the Sun, Saturn, North Node, Jupiter AND Pluto are in Capricorn. The Sun will conjunct Jupiter in Capricorn on December 26th, on the day of the New Moon and Annular Lunar eclipse, making this a MAGNIFICENT day to set the foundations and groundwork for the new year. If you can, list everything you want to achieve. Stick it on the mirror you use every morning, read the list out loud to yourself every day, and see how the magic unfolds.

Mercury enters Capricorn on December 29th, adding the final planetary addition to the Capricorn stellium. From here on, it will be all eyes on the prize. You will KNOW what you need to do. Every fiber of your being will become focused on improving your vocation, reputation, and social standing. You will live and breathe determination and ambition, and you will be obsessing about it and showing it in all your actions. Everybody is going to be saying, "This new year, I am going to be famous!" "This new year, I am going to become rich!" This new year, it's going to about going big for all of us. It is now or never!
